Optimise your operating theatre!
Faced with increasingly varied and complex surgical practices, operating theatre equipment needs to be versatile. In this context, remaining simple is not easy!
However, the GmaxTM operating table successfully combines very easy use with an impressive range of applications thanks to its clever modular design.
One column, one table top and multiple extensions
The GmaxTM table is based around a robust column, available in a fixed or mobile version. Very compact with its X-shaped base, it enables teams to work as close to the patient as possible. The triple-hinged motorised table top accommodates a wide range of extensions and specialty accessories, making it possible to configure the table for multiple surgical applications. A single configuration (head section / back section / leg supports) is suitable for carrying out the vast majority of procedures in your theatre: gynaecology, urology (due to independent motorised Goepel leg supports), nephrectomy (built-in extension for tall patients), bariatric surgery (up to 360 kg), neurosurgery, ophthalmology (double-jointed ergonomic head section), orthopaedics, knee traumatology, and also spinal column, shoulder and hip surgery: the GmaxTM table is a true all-rounder.
A smart system
In order to switch quickly from one configuration to another, while guaranteeing patient safety, STERIS has developed a smart system. The extensions, locked in record time using the exclusive G-lock system, are detected by the hand control which then offers the user the different possible settings. Movement compatibility is handled by the Auto Limit Sensor™ system, thus preventing any risk of incorrect operation.
Designed for maximised simplification of the medical teams' work, the hand control with its backlit colour screen offers a precise view of the position of the table and of its movements in real time. The patient orientation and the various extensions are also displayed. Settings are very simple to apply via intuitive icons. All motorised movements can be accessed using the hand control, along with automated positions such as "kidney elevator", "genupectoral" or "Bariatric". Ad hoc configurations can also be stored in memory in order to set up new patients without delay.
Transfer: an added bonus
The specifications of a good transfer system involve guaranteeing patient safety during pre- and post-operative transfers, while ensuring shorter procedure times. The GmaxTM table is equipped with a particularly effective trolley. It is compact and easy to handle, and its record insertion angle (100 degrees) simplifies approach procedures considerably, even in cramped and congested areas. It is compatible with all accessories and the height and the trend/rev trend position are easy to adjust using two pedals. Finally, the GmaxTM trolley communicates with the table top and validates the position prior to transfer.
Versatile, ergonomic, safe…. If you could choose only one operating table, choose the STERIS GmaxTM!
The GmaxTM operating table is manufactured in France.
